I've been using electric fencing since February but have recently swopped my Gemini 40 energiser for a Gemini 120 as I couldn't keep the voltage high enough with the 40. Now I've started having problems with the battery (which was also new in February), it should last 3 weeks with the Gemini 120 but went flat after a week, it has now become impossible to get it to hold a charge - after charging it last night until it registered full it then began to run flat after only 6 hours.

Has the battery given up the ghost or could the energiser be causing the problem, I have just got my OH to get a new battery at a cost of £79 :shock: and I don't think he will be too pleased if I kill that one as well.
