shaunw
Yesterday i was moving my compost heaps to a shadier part of the garden so they work better. As i started to dig in to one a load of bees appeared. I know the bee population is under threat (wife and mother in law are very keen gardeners) so i dont want to destroy it but i have to move this compost heap. IS there anyone i can contact to come and remove the bees and rehome them? I have found the "beekeepers" association and will email a local one, is that the best bet? shaunw
Its ok, Henthusiastic has a friend who has offered to come and rehome them.
Olly
Glad you've found someone to help - I would suspect bumble bees rather than honey bees, but your local beekeeper will know what to do about them.
