paynee
We got our 3 little girls on saturday , tikka, millie (light sussex bantams) and bingo (australorp bantum). pics coming soon They are only 6 weeks old and growing day by day, however we are slighty worried that bingo is a boy. Does anyone have any tips to help identify? Also noticed a few cats sniffing around, im not too worried because the pen has chicken wire dug 12 inches into the ground and also has a roof so nothing can get in including foxes i hope. Does anyone have any ideas of how to scare off cats? Thanks
Mollie333
Cats shouldn't bother when the girls are older, but there safe so it must be OK.. i'm looking forward to pictures!
Guest
Once your girls have grown up they will see off the cats. I have 2 light sussex bantams and they hate the cats who live near us. Light sussex bantams are great little characters but just oone thingmy Betty is a hefta and she is heavy and stupid well not stupid just not smart. I must ay they grow up nicely and they are so loving but you have to start stroking them early I made the mistake with Betty and she has only just got used to me after a year. Good luck x
