Happily Posted June 12, 2010 Share Posted June 12, 2010 We have just put our new (second hand off ebay) cube up in the garden. The area it is in has half grass in the run and half dirt/soil. Do I need to put wood chip in here too, if so where - over the dirt? I'm a bit confused about whether it should all be woodchip or they should have access to the grass. Thanks to anyone who can help. If your run is kept dry, there's no reason why soil alone won't work but lots of us use horse bedding, which is really absorbant and magically dries up all the poo .
