girlclaire771
Twinkle has had diahorrea for MONTHS and I have no idea what to do about it. No sign of mites or lice and she has been wormed. Her back end looks sore and the feathers are (naturally!) always wet. We took her to the vet and spent £80 on swabs to discount salmonella. No salmonella but no answers either. The vet said that because she is bright eyed and otherwise healthy there is not a lot more we can do. Our other chicken has no problems at all, so presumably it isn't catching. Any advice would be really appreciated.
Egluntyne
I would keep her on dry food and fresh water for a few days, and add some bokashi bran, available online to the food.

Yep, you can add some probiotic powder to food or water too. Neither will do any harm to the chickens that don't have diahorrea. I am assuming that you have wormed with Flubenvet or Panacur. girlclaire771
Thanks for the advice. Twinkle is on dried food and water most of the time anyway and the wormer was given to us by the vet. I'm not sure what brand it was. Would that make a difference? Where do you buy products like bokashi bran and probiotic powder from? Neither are in the omlet shop and when I put them into google it just results in a confusing mess! By the way, Twinkle is not laying and hasn't for a very long time. She is around 2 years old. Chucky Mama
You were probably given Panacur which is fine. You can get Bolashi from[Wiggly Wigglers] and you could google Avipro & Protexin Professional (or Prosoluble) for the probiotics.
