quickcluck Posted June 24, 2010 Share Posted June 24, 2010 (edited) She is a Cuckoo Maran, who is prone to broodiness She spends more time broody than not, ususally 3-5 days in the cage sorts her out. This time we are up to 10 days!!! What can I do, I can't keep her in there indefinately she has pulled out 50% of her feathers so is looking ragged, and i'm worried she will become unwell. coco Posted June 24, 2010 Share Posted June 24, 2010 When Coco went broody nothing worked to stop her so I just left her to get on with it. She stopped on her own after three months, she does look a bit raggedy now though and is having a mini moult. I just made sure she was eating and drinking by turfing her out of the house twice a day.
