Can this cause problems?

Recommended Posts

It can cause problems, but it's not inevitable. One of mine used to lay some whoppers, all double-yolkers, but she never had a prolapse. You are right to be aware of it, and keep an eye out because if she does prolapse, the other hens will peck it mercilessly and damage can occur very quickly. Fingers crossed however that this won't happen to her.
