Dawn-Dave
Margary one of our Bluebelles is limping and when stood still is not putting any weight on one of her legs. She is eating ok and getting her share of the treats, and she is also laying ok too. Her comb isn't as bright as it was and is flopped over slightly. We can't see any physical damage or cuts so I was wondering if she could have bruised or sprained it chasing round the run for treats. Should I put some limestone flour in their food, they do have access to a pot of grit all the time that is topped up regular. Dawn
Egluntyne
I would put some limestone flour in her feed. A bit of extra calcium is useful with this sort of injury. I would let her rest in a cat carrier or similar, in the run, so that she doesn't try to run about with her mates for a day or two, and exacerbate the injury.
