She has re-made her nest within it so the chicks are on the newspaper covering the floor. Will this be ok and not to slippy for them? I didn't realise how excited I would get at this whole process. bennett Posted July 23, 2010 Share Posted July 23, 2010 congrats on the new chicks! my broody is doing the same, kicking out all the woodchips, it's driving me nuts as i keep having to rake up all the chippings around the eglu run.
