theresa anne Posted July 28, 2010 Share Posted July 28, 2010 Hi, after 22 days I have one gorgeous sandy coloured chick with dark stripes on it's back., (out of 9 fertile eggs). I am wondering if the others are going to hatch out now. I have put some water in a shallow dish with some pebbles for the chick. I removed a partition so the chick can move about. The broody hen is sitting on the chick. Is this right, will it be safe? I have never done this before. Can you give me some advice please? I intend to buy some chick crumbs tomorrow.
