Hi everyone,

Still eagerly anticipating getting our chooks at the beginning of September, and getting everything ready for their arrival. I have searched the forum and can see that Easibed or aubiose is the way to go for a good floor covering. I have an Eglu classic with standard run. We are positioning the eglu so that we can see it from the house so am pondering how to put a cover on the run and still be able to see in? - how far down does the cover need to go? and how can I stopthe easibed escaping? we are looking to put some sort of border edging around the botton of the run but nothing too intrusive to our viewing!!! any advise welcome, thanks. :D

I ordered some from Tarpaflex, the bobble ones. I was not sure how they work but one end is in eyelet and you then loop the bungee round run and back on to bobble at top. However, I have not needed to use them as with this weather the tarpaulin is permanently soaked and heavy. Perhaps an ordinary bungee or 2 might be adequate in windy weather. I fold it back if we happen to get some sunshine!!
