bizzylizzy
Hi Everyone, We have got a 6 year old (ish) tortoise and we dont really want to hibernate him. We are going away at xmas for 2 weeks. We have found a willing volunteer to look after our rabbits and chickens and quail and george (tortoise). Obviously feeding the other animals isnt a problem as they all have their pellets and food etc. As george has to have his food prepared (veg, salad etc) i want to make it really easy for the man looking after them all. The first couple of days wont be a problem as the salad will keep. Is there anything that i could do in advance and maybe leave in the freezer? Or do I just leave some money and ask him to get fresh salady stuff every couple of days? Thanks in advance. bizzylizzy
Chucky Mama
Your salad should last for up to a week in the fridge. I would leave some money for him to buy more supplies should they run out.
