Stedic Posted September 10, 2010 Share Posted September 10, 2010 Just thought I'd let you all know: I took the fences down from my veg beds and planted some green manure (Winter Tares and Rye Grass). The girls absolutely love it! ITs the first thing they run to when the get out. It cost me about £3 to cover 8 square metres and its holding up nicely to their onslaught as it grows so quickly. Plus, while they eat it they poo, which is just more manure for my veggies! They love it and its stopped them eating the grass - perfect!
