At last!!! :D

The stand off has ended but I am not sure who won!

After changing feed to layers pellets rather than the yummy (so it seems) Omlet crumbs, Toffee GNR went on 'egg strike'. I spent all my waking hours searching this and other forums, montoring her closely for signs of illness, asking anyone who knew anything about chickens and finally, believing I was a cruel 'mummy hen', placed an order with Omlet; she must have realised the 'proper food' was on its way and two weeks on has just laid a perfect egg! !eggcream!

 

I can sleep soundly tonight knowing she is just a stubborn young lady and will now continue the pellets and mix with the crumbs as a treat!

 

Thank you to Treacle PP who has stoically laid regardless of her sisters issues!
