It will definatley be warm this winter wth all the extra feathering! Unfortunatley the beard is not showing up too well on this picture. Any ideas of what crosses 'it' might be?? Here is also a pic of my little black one - boy or girl do you think?? I love its little blue ear bits! daxigirl Posted October 7, 2010 Share Posted October 7, 2010 I think the black one looks like a girl, one of mine is a silkie x appenzeller and she looks like that only she's black and white spots and lacing with a little beehive that she can lift when alarmed like a cockatoo! She also has pink cheeks like she's got her blusher on but has the black beak, skin, legs and a k"Ooops, word censored!"bly barely there comb. The other one may have a bit of araucana as mine has a beard thing going on under her beak no head style though. I think Favorelles have a beard too.
