ayazghani
Hi Everyone, Have noticed over the last week that went I clean the litter tray, the chicken poo is covered in tiny fine white hairs. Is this serious and something that I should treat? If so how? The chickens seem generally ok and are laying eggs. However, I suspect they may have lost a bit of weight. Appreciate your advice. Many thanks in advance. Ayaz
Chucky Mama
I think it is quite normal for poo that has been around for a day or 2. I wouldn't worry
stoice
I've noticed a stray furry poop in the run. I put it down to the high moisture content in the air (Understatement!) Not found any in their house, but that would make sense as I poo pick daily
LeeMeadfan
I've had this too ( well not me personally! ). I usually empty the tray every couple of days ( have 3 chooks). None of the poo in the run gets like this so I guess warmth & moisture makes them go 'mouldy' !
