Hi,

 

About two weeks ago my khaki duck started sitting on eggs (not just her eggs),

and a few days ago there was 11 eggs on the nest and i came today and there was only 6 or 5 that could be seen without digging up the nest.(The nest is in there house).I'm hoping to get ducklings,so i need to know how to.And it's muddy and it was snowing about a week ago.And i have 8 white ducks 1 of them is really really dirty it looks like shes not oiling her feathers.and another white duck laid an egg without a shell just the inner soft shell. Yeah and my moscovy duck ,i dont know if it is female or male,but my white male sometimes puts his bill to the ground and follows her for a bit.

Someone tell about my ducks please .

Sorry to hear your predicament, do they have access to clean/fresh water daily, can you put down some chipped bark (or similar) to ease the mud problem, access to grit as well, how have they been eating, do you give them some s"Ooops, word censored!"s for a treat, my two Abacot Rangers and male apricot runner love the leaves off sprouts and blueberries (they'll follow me everywhere for them).

 

At this time of year and especially with the weather we've had you could put a supplement in their drinking water to help.

Hi,

Yes they do have fresh water everyday ,when we let them out we give them fresh water.What we feed them is corn,organic layers pellets ,grass ,cucumber,tomatoe,lettuce and sometimes bread.
