Jemima Puddle Duck Posted January 2, 2011 Share Posted January 2, 2011 I have a pair of Indian runners and a pair of call ducks that have all lived happily together with a number of chickens for the last few months. However, for the past few days the male runner has been really bullying the female call duck and has excluded her from the group. He has damaged her one eye and caused damage to her neck. I have had to separate them and she seems happy with just the male call. They have a secure acre paddock to roam normally but are now in the eglu. It just seems a shame that they can no longer roam freely. Is this normal? I am new to ducks but have had chickens for some few years now. Any advice would be gratefully received.
