supergreenmini
One of my four hens has started over the last 2 days to get fluffier on her back. Fearing that she is being hen pecked, I have not witnessed any aggression between them, I picked her up and had a good look. She has a small bald patch on top of one thigh and a slight patch by her ear. There is no redness, no evidence of pecking around the legs or rear and no evidence of parasites. The other three hens are in perfect condition. Your experienced input is most welcome http://dl.dropbox.com/u/12261151/Photo%20Feb%2001%2C%2021%2035%2051.jpg I am diagnosing pecking and therefore i am looking at ways to distract the pecking and to increase entertainment in the run, for when they are not free ranging.
