Henhathnofury
During the winter, my chickens had a break from laying. My sussex moulted and became quite chick-like. They were quiet, calm and actually a bit like old ladies at the hairdressers - sitting around, taking in the world. Well - the eggs are back and so is the attitude. Noisy - squawking for attention - running into the garden and ripping up snowdrops, standing in pots and clawing at my plants, kicking my strawberry plants into the path and not coming when I call them. They are positively naughty. Hooligans - I am always amazed how thoroughly their personalities change, so quickly too. Oh I love 'em!! chicken bark
When mine were under shelter they always reminded me of old women at a bus stop.
