Anyone taking Januvia, and are you experiencing any side effects?. I've just heard that there are a few court cases coming up in America. It appears that Januvia can cause pancreatitis. I'm getting a little concerned about Januvia, so off to the Doctor 1st thing Monday.....

Funnily enough I saw a patient the other day who had been prescribed Januvia when the NHS suspended prescription of Avandia. I'd never heard of it before. Must go and google - interestingly though, she was finding it harder to achieve a stable blood sugar since the change

 

Hm, pancreatitis is listed as a known side effect, but the frequency is unknown.

I was taken off 'Diamicron' the Doctor said it was a one shot hit or miss. My blood sugar levels weren't that much different, but by eck! I felt a whole lot better than I do now.......
