bubbles looking sad - RIP

Recommended Posts

It shouldn't be a worm issue if you wormed them a month ago. In standard conditions they only need doing every 3-4 months. Have a gentle feel of her abdomen to check it doesn't feel overly hard, swollen or fluid filled. You can compare by feeling the others. You may be able to feel the egg or general swelling or hardness may indicate peritonitis or a tumour.

Hi Tiggy

Just posted reply to your entry on my post about my poor Georgina who was sadly PTS on Thursday with a tumour. You said your bubbles seemed the same and you were taking her to the vet today, how did you get on? I hope she and you are ok.

RIP GNR Georgina

Bubbles had peritonitis, had a soft egg stuck in there, the smell was terrible but she seemed to perk up at the vets so had some baytril but she died in my arms a few hours later. I felt very guilty that I didnt spot it sooner but the vet said there was probrably nothing we could do anyway. What do I do with baytril? should I give it to the others or just hold on to it?

I did a huge clear out in the run and eglu it looks very good now, RIP Bubbles
