Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

is normally a mid-brown but lately have been getting some white-shelled eggs. What might be causing this change of colour?

Do the eggs feel any different? Or are they thinner shelled? One of my girls (pale brown egg layer) lays very thin shelled eggs, I have to keep her topped up with a calcium supplement from time to time to help her lay hard shelled eggs, but as the egg shells start to get thinner again they become rough textured and much lighter in colour. Could a similar thing have happened?
