The lady to whom I spoke does not yet stock chicken feed as I got the impression that she thought that it might not sell. If you live close by to Battle and are interested, please give her a call on 01424 871676 to register an interest. Just for the record, I bought our first couple of bags of the 731 from Middle Farm near Lewes a couple of weeks ago and the reduction in 'poultry pong' from our 9 girls is quite noticeable - a great bonus for the coming summer months. The girls' egg yolks are also noticeably more orangey. As I live in St Leonards, I just need to persuade the Battle people to give the poultry feed a go as Lewes is quite a long way to go for feed, especially as it isn't the cheapest in the first place!
