Dolly Posted April 2, 2011 Share Posted April 2, 2011 Recently Roxy our 2.5yr old hybrid, has laid 1 or 2 soft eggs a week (which I'm 'treating' with liquid calcium, limestone flour etc.) but each time she lays one, an hour or so later she returns to the nest box and sits for another 1/2 hour - does anyone know why this could be? PS. I always check the broken egg to make sure the shell is all there, as she got one stuck inside her a month ago which had to be removed by the vet. Thanks!
