I just had to share this.... :lol::lol::lol:

Our cockerel is wonderful with his food and clucks away to his hens when he finds something interesting. He even takes a piece of sweetcorn out of the bowl clucking away and drops it for one of his ladies to eat, whilst they have their heads down ignoring him. He persists until one will break away to take his offered morsel.

Yesterday my DH threw a mouse out of one of our traps in the loft to them (naughty hubby)and all hell broke loose. Flash snatched it away from the top hen and wouldn't share AT ALL. He even had his legs up and wings out at one of the hens who challenged him.

He thrashed away at it for a while then gulped it down head first.....YUK!!!

MAN food, obviously :lol::lol::lol:
