beach chick Posted May 5, 2011 Share Posted May 5, 2011 we have lots and lots and lots of grass clippings - too many to add to the compost heaps. at the moment I am just dumping them in u"Ooops, word censored!"trusive bits of the edges of our field to try and kill off some of the nettles - dont worry, there will be plenty left for the butterflies! is there anything else constructive I could do with them? someone said use them to earth up the potatoes, but I reckon they'd be a bit slug-gy by then....
