rasp1234
Hi, I have had my girls for three years and all has been OK in all weathers, I went to put them to bed tonight and found one lying on the floor!! no apparent injuries but very wet as it has been raining quite heavy I bought her in wrapped in a towel for 10 mins, then she seemed quite normal being nosey wanting to run around the kitchen I have put her back in the run and she put herself to bed as usual. could she have just got too wet? they do have access to the coop and other shelter but they don`t bother....Just concerned. Not been attacked by anything. any ideas anyone? Thanks K : )
gongladosh
Welcome to the forum! I wouldn't worry about it - see how she is tomorrow, maybe she planned to dry off by spreading herself nice and wide - mine can often do all manner of random things... rasp1234
Hi There, Got up early hours to check, she was fine even went in to lay later in the morning! I have had them for 3 years and never experienced this, would she have died if I had not found her before dark? i will always worry now when it rains heavy if they are out. Thank you for your reply much appreciated
