Sam
Hello. Well last night I went out to the coop around 9.30 to top food up, water, take plant pot out nest box but I totally forgot to lock them away! One of them suddenly made a loud noise in the morning so I rushed downstairs to let them out of their 2m run into the wir, but they were already out! Why would they make this noise even though that have a 4m x 3m run?! We were going to fox proof the wir this weekend so we could leave the eglu open all the time and reduce the noise, but that seems like it would make no difference Thing is she shuts up as soon as I walk near, I didn't even go into the wir just stood next to it and she seemed happy! Think she just likes the attention
Sandychick
I always leave the door open for mine, but it doesn't stop them being noisey They certainly make the most noise in a morning - shout about being awake, shout about eating breakfast, then like to shout about each others eggs. Thankfully, they are far enough up the garden for me to not really hear them. By the afternoon they are all chilled out and quiet
