fujcube
Hi all, Google has been sitting on 12 eggs for 30 days now and none of them show any signs of hatching. There is definitely something in some of the eggs, others I'm not sure of. How long should I give her? If none of the eggs hatch out, will she just give up incubating them or will I have to remove the eggs from the nest? Regards,
miller30
If you candle you should beable to see movement its only 2 days over they could still hatch leave her a couple more days leanne
fujcube
Checked all her eggs today and there was definitely no movement in any of them. They all looked dark with a ring round a large air pocket. I didn't want to take a look inside but I can imagine what I'd have found!! Removed them all from the nest and buried them. This didn't seem to affect Google as she was back to her normal self within a half hour. Guess I'll never know what went wrong but it was a learning experience if nothing else. We still have our White Call sitting on a dozen eggs which are due to hatch at the end of the month, so fingers crossed! Just going to get the incubator going and see if I can source any fertile White Call Duck eggs online. Regards

fujcube
Thanks. Can't believe that we didn't even get one duckling from the 12 eggs. If the other Call ends up with 12 blanks, then the Drake better hope he can fly!!
