Leicester_H Posted May 17, 2011 Share Posted May 17, 2011 Hi Ivy is listed as a plant poisonous to hens - BUT my girls LOVE it. As soon as they're out of their run, they make a dash for it. I fend them off but they sneak back. They're allowed to dig in the corner of the garden (only) - so I chased them down there - then I discovered they'd found more ivy growing through the fence! Is all ivy poisonous ? or is there ivy and ivy ?? They don't seem to have come to any harm (yet) - how much is dangerous ? Do I have to continue to try to keep them away from it ??
