Is your dog's unusual barking a secret code for something mysterious?

Hi,

 

I'm a newbie to all this and am at the point of making my purchase of an Eglu Go and a couple of chickens. My question is, do chickens lay all the year round or do they stop during the winter?

Hybrids will lay throughout their first winter, but be less reliable during second and subsequent winters. Pure breeds stop laying in late October and don't generally start again till around mid Feb.
