hopingforchickens Posted July 6, 2011 Share Posted July 6, 2011 We've had the chooks 5 weeks now and Cornflake has been laying for 2, her eggs are slightly smaller than 'normal' and a regular colour at the moment. She has been laying almost everyday. Yesterday we went to check for her egg after lunch (has always laid by then) and there was none, so I thought she was just having a day off. After school there was an egg. When it's compared to the day before's egg the new one is slightly bigger, a lighter colour and in my humble opinion has flecks/tiny white dots all over it. I have a sneaking suspicion that Henrietta (my Speckledy) may have laid her first egg hopefully I will get 2 today and that will confirm it, but I'm so excited Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
