How Quickly Does Albendazole Work?

Hello, I am new in keeping chickens - we get tons of snow in winter (live in the thumb of Michigan) and I was thinking of covering my eglu run with clear plastic so that the run stays snow free. Would this be a good idea? It will be impossible to move it around the yard in winter. I live in the city so can not let them roam free :>(

Yes, it would be a very good idea. Omlet sell purpose made shades here in the UK for that very reason. I don't know if you can obtain them in the US. If not, a clear tarpaulin would do the job nicely, or a shower curtain, although in my experience they tend not to be as robust.

Welcome to the forum . I don't know if you can get these in the US, but a few of us use sheets of clear corrugated plastic bought from DIY stores. They work really well held on with bungee cords and are a bit studier than plain plastic sheeting.

Thank you very much for the warm welcome to the forum. I will go to our local hardware store and look for the plactic. I had thought of shower curtains but was not certain they would be strong enough for those north winds. I have just retired this past Feb and have always wanted chickens and since I live alone (along with my dog, Rosie) I needed something that would be easy to manage. As soon as I saw the Eglu I knew that would fit my needs nicely. Thank you again for the answers to my question.
