Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

hi ive just swapped one chicken and bought another as i thought it would be better to get 2together,ive put them in the garden with my other 8,and theres been abit of fighting nothing major,but one of my chickens the oldest one is really frlying pecking stomping you name it one of the newones,just womnt leave her alone,ive read to sperate the main offender which ive done shes now in a big dog crate but ive kept her outside,(obviouslty will cover it over on a night or if it rains)how long should i keep her seperated??x

in my experience - very slowly is the way to go. I've taken 2 - 3 months with mine, so you'll need two lots of accommodation to do it that way.

cheers for replying,we let the main attacker out of the cage after a few hours and shes been fine,tho shes very sly so is probably leading us into false believing shes going to be nice,well see how they are over the next half hour as theyre all settling down now if theres a prob ill put the 2 new ones in a crate over night,i dont have 2 seperate places to put them,they basically have a big plastic shed as there home and freerun off my gardenxx
