Cleaning eggs

Recommended Posts

Hi, just curious - never kept chickens and about to get some ducks, poss chickens later if possible - how do you clean the eggs before eating? I heard somewhere that simply wiping them with a damp cloth and putting them in the fridge is completely the wrong thing to do, so what do you do with them?

Just wondering !egg!!eggwhite!!egggreen!!eggbrown!!eggblue!!eggcream!!eggspeck!!egg!!eggwhite!!egg!!egggreen!!eggbrown!!eggwhite!!eggcream!!eggspeck!!eggspeck!!egg!!eggblue!!eggbrown!!egggreen!!eggwhite!!egg!

Oh - I thought they had to be waqshed....

But if they do have....'waste' on them do you just buse a tissue, or? sorry - really think about this sort of thing...only fresh eggs I've ever touched are Bearded dragon eggs, when I was putting them into the incubator.

(which my 9 year old neice built in an emergency...hatched them, too )
