mumblecheekyuggs
Could you keep a rabbit in a cube if you removed the ladder and replaced with ramp? Of course you would remove the roosting bars? So is it possible and has anyone done it? Edited September 4, 2011 by Guest
lillybettybabs
It could be possible, you would need to make the ramp a lot more gradual and have some sort of grip or batons on the ramp. My worry would be rabbits falling off at the highest point so maybe some sort of tunnel system or barriers would be needed.
mumblecheekyuggs
Thanks for that useful point. Would there be enough room to lock them in the cube at night? Thanks for advice!!!!!!
lillybettybabs
Depends on what size rabbits you have, Two giants may struggle but the rest should be fine. You'll need to fine a way of them having food, hay and water during the night.
bigmommasally
I don't think rabbits would like being locked in a cube at night. Rabbits tend to be awake more at night so would hate being shut up without being able to see out. If your run is secure there isn't actually any need to shut them away at night. Mine have been much happier since I started leaving their door open at all times. They can come and go as they please and often sit outside for most of the night.
