Do posts get removed (other than 'inappropriate' ones) after a period of time (or some other rule) ?

I can't seem to find some posts of mine (from 'ages' ago) - I was looking as I didn't want to have to type a load of stuff again (in particular, links to pics) and simply wanted to give link.
