Hiya

 

One of our hens is behaving really oddly and we're wondering if she may be ill. Our chooks like sitting on the windowsill of our dining room (nosy!) but this morning one of them keeps rearing up and moving her neck strangely- almost as though if she were a cat we'd expect her to cough up a fur ball. Her beak is closed so I don't think she is retching...but she doesn't seem to be able to settle. Anyone have any ideas? She's had pellets and cooked potato skins this morning...if that helps??!

They sometimes wriggle their heads around to rearrange the food in their crop especially if its full
