Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

Has anybody got one of these? If so what are they like to use etc?

I was teaching at a special needs day service and they had one as they didn't have an oven and wanted to do cookery with the service users. They had some success and the food always smelt good when I arrived but to be hoest they only got it because they had no oven. I think it will be a gadget you use a couple of times and then leave it in the cupboard with all the others.
