Redwing
What size bantams?
StephenW
Well I have sable poot, pekins and a polish, all hens. Thanks redwing
Pekin
Why not use an aluminium pigeon carrier, the twelve compartment one, if you take out alternate dividers it takes six small banties, its an awful lot lighter than a wooden one. StephenW
Sounds an idea where can you get them? Steve
Redwing
There are a few sites that sell those if you google pigeon carrier The problem with those is they aren't terribly tall The good thing is that you can buy two sets that clip together that will take 12 pigeons or 6 smallish bantams Sabelpoots and pekins need room for their foot feathers obviously and the sabelpoots and polands need a bit of height. I will post up some pics of my carriers later if you want design ideas Edited January 6, 2012 by Guest
Pekin
http://www.bleefe.co.uk/www.bleefe.co.uk/info.php?p=11 They can be found cheaper than that, if I can remember where mine came from I'll post a link, incidentally I use mine for Pekins and D'Anvers and can carry two of these boxes, with twelve birds in total ,very easily.
