yannovitch
Hello everyone. I definitely have a badger (or several!!!) trying to get at my hens at night. i've been suspecting this for a little while now as i found digging spots here and there in the garden recently. But last night i spotted the animal, and it was having a frenetic go at the eglu!!! Now i read Badgers are protected and i should not harm them in anyway... but i don't want my hens to have to deal with this every night!! Also: there are quite a few cats around and i wouldn't want any of them to be harmed by whatever i set for the badger to stay away... Has anyone got any idea how i could repel this badger without harming any cat or breaking a law about protecting naughty annoying badgers??? Thank you very much for reading Edited April 2, 2012 by Guest

lillybettybabs
In the long run you may have to look at badger proofing your garden or putting electric netting up to deter them.
