stevefitz5
Hi Really could do with some help as we put our chicks out last week and she looked fine this morning and ate soon as she came out but sonn looked quite hunched and puffed out at the front. I thought she may have an impacted crop but didn't know how likely that was for a grower. They had straw in for bedding so have removed that and poped to grab some maggots. If anyone can help or thinks it could be something else all help is appreciated cheers
Miggy
How is your girl getting on. If it is any help I have found that our girls will sometimes have an off day and just stand fluffed up and not looking good. As long as they stand and not sit and it doesn't last longer than a day we have stopped worrying.
stevefitz5
Hi, Yep she still a bit fluffed up and so is another one of the chicks and sounded like he was sneezing so have ruled out the impacted crop but not sure what to do next. Don't no if it's a cold or respiratory thing. Thanks for the reply Steve
