Hi, I have seen a few recommendations for welded mesh on here from Hills of Devon.

Could anybody tell me which code number I need to order to get the right thickness etc I need around 15-20m.

Sorry been a loooong day and my powers of concentration are shot to pieces!!

Ita s bit of a how long is a bit of string question...

 

1 x 1 mesh is a good bet. 1 x 0.5 will keep most rodents out though

 

1mm thick mesh is fine

 

1.6mm is stronger but harder to cut

 

36" wide mesh is good if you are making panels

 

If it was my decision I would buy A24. It comes in a 30m roll but it means you have more leeway to play with and any extra is easlly easily sold locally

Redwing, thank you sooooo much for your help, I was going cross eyed looking at all the options

I have ordered the A24 as you said and as you said, can sell on the remainder (or use it when I build the inevitable extension!!)
