I am creating duck pen and have been clearing area for them.(3 kackie campbells ) There is ivy , fushia bush and ferns and crocosmia bushes. I realise the ducks will do their own clearing of at least some of these but are any of these plants/bushes a problem? Would it be worth grassing the area?(25 meters square) Hoping climbing ivy and fushia will provide shade and some shelter. Still got four weeks till get our s. Any advice gratefully received. miller30 Posted June 12, 2012 Share Posted June 12, 2012 Hi my ducks have ivy and connifer bushes and some others i dont know what they are and ive never had any problems they use them for shade or to have a kip under i think they seem to know what to eat or not i wouldnt bother grassing it wont last 5 minutes i had grass around my pond now we dont have a blade in sight leanne Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
