I've had her for approx 8 weeks now and she was laying beautiful blue eggs until 12 days ago when Hilda died. 3 days after there was a completely shell less egg in the run, which I assumed at the time was my new girl getting to grips with laying, but now I'm thinking may have been Margaret. Then we had a small 36g egg (she normally lays 45-53g eggs), but we've had nothing from her since. Now ths is going to sound totally daft but is it possible that she is missing her mate?
