Unsecure chicken perches

So on the plus side I have had 6 perfectly formed little 40-45g eggs. The first two were slightly more beige in colour than the next 4, but only just - they also had marginally lighter yolks than the other 4.... Two different girls or just one getting into the swing of it? Buffy yesterday had redder face and bigger wattles. All v exciting. The slightly more negative thing is there were two softies in the poo trays yesterday morning. Mildly concerned as we had lots of probs with Viv leading to peritonitis as she started laying. Hopefully just a small blip as somebody is learning and all settles down - six perfect eggs was too good to be true!
