sandyhas3chucks Posted December 31, 2012 Share Posted December 31, 2012 All my Experience to date is with exbats, but my Cream Legbar & months old has just started to lay.. eggs on day 12 and 4.. Now guys, I know egg laying is not what they are about, but what should I expect... sjp Posted December 31, 2012 Share Posted December 31, 2012 if she's from a good strain of CLB then once she gets into the swing off laying eggs then 6 eggs a week at least but 7 isn't that uncommon for at least the first year as for laying over winter after the first moult that may or may not happen my CLB Rusty is about 4yrs old and has been a very good layer and started to lay again about 10 -14 days ago after moulting and is laying about every other day which I think is good given the weather and the time of year plus the fact that a week to the day before she started to lay again she was still suffering through the moult Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
