remove the hind claw on a cockrel?? well ive decided to keep it regardless of it being a boy of girl, I was gonna call the vet to see if it was possible but their closed? I still not too sure wheather my chick (or broody's chick it should read!) will be a hen or a cockrel so just thinking ahead!!

 

its more just incase as i would be worried about it with the kids!

I am not sure Emma, I certainly have never heard of a cockerel having it's claw removed, they do look very sharp.........

you can remove cats claws so i think you will be able to remove a cockerel or at least file it down.
