Just given my Legbar Tikka an injection of Tylan 0.5ml, to try and help her with her leaky liver and the fluid it produces. She went to the vets about three weeks ago and I was shown how to inject, she did pick up after the antibiotic, so I thought it was worth another go as she is otherwise ok. I was very pleased that I just had to pay £3 for the injection, rather than take the hen in for it to be done for £18!

Sadly, it doesn't seem to have helped her this time and it looks like she will need to be PTS . She is my sons hen and one of the largest character, I/we will all miss her, but although she is out and about with the flock she is struggling to walk - poor girl.
